Blades will NOT be sharpened if they are sent without a completed Blade Sharpening Form

Include a check or money order for $12.95 USD issued to "AWC Distributing LLC" for shipping and handling

All blades received between April 1st and August 1st will be processed in 8-10 weeks. Blades received outside of this window will experience extended sharpening times that will be subject to current volumes. After sharpening, blades will be shipped to the provided address.

Some blades cannot be re-sharpened due to damage or over-sharpening. Misuse of the blades negates this service, and the blades will be returned to the customer as-is, at the owners expense. It is at the sole discretion of Vexilar/K-Drill to decide if a blade is eligible for sharpening. 

Blades will NOT be sharpened if they are sent without the Blade Sharpening Form or payment.

Blades will NOT be sharpened if they are still attached to the auger or auger head.

IMPORTANT

Remove the center tip blade with 3/16” Allen wrench. Remove the outside chipper blades with 7/16” open end wrench.

We will notify you at the time of re-sharpening if your blades cannot be re-sharpened due to wear or neglect.

The blades can be re-sharpened 2-3 times under normal use, before needing replacement. After re-sharpening blades multiple times they may fall outside the specification and will no longer cut efficiently. It will then be necessary to purchase a replacement set of blades for your K-Drill. Under normal use, blades should be sharpened every 2 to 3 years.

Blades that show damage from drilling into rock, gravel, sand, dirt, etc. will not be re-sharpened.
